Should we follow this Great Leader or not?

We all want great leaders. Every country wants a better government. The issue is that sin is the cause of the issues of this world and we want people to solve issues.
People can't cure sin because everyone is a sinner and the default position is to desire sin so no leader can save us.
The only person that can save us is Jesus. He is God. Let us read Revelation 1:5.

Revelation 1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.

Jesus is the faithful witness because the only true being is God. We have fake news and fake people in this world but Jesus is not fake.

John 3:32-33
And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.

John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

We see the phrase in verse five these words, "the first begotten of the dead." If you are curious about this, I will explain this.
Jesus conquered death and if we have hope. The secular culture fears death but I don't fear death.

John 11:25
 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

I am now looking at the words, "And the prince of the kings of the earth."
Jesus may not seem to be in control of this world but he gives us free will. The issue is that people love sin more than truth. 
Jesus will become the world leader without anyone voting. He will be the perfect leader and we can follow the best leader.
  
Revelation 11:15
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

God is love  and want people to know Him. There is a problem. It is called sin. When a person that never have accepted Jesus, sin will block an relationship with God because God can't look upon sin.
So we must be cleansed from our sins by repenting and follow Jesus.

John 3:16-20
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
