Will they be there?

Image
We all know that we are living in crazy times.  Today's news is like a bad horror movie and people think that it will only get better. I have bad news, it will only get worst. We are in end times birth pains.  Matthew 24:4-8 says, "Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one will deceive you.  For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am Messiah,' and will deceive many.  You will hear of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will raise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All of these are the beginning of birth pains." We are living in the end days, but we are not in the Great Tribulation. The Great Tribulation is when God will pour His wrath on this earth. The rapture of the church will happen before the Great Tribulation because the wrath of God will laid on Jesus. The church will not face the wrath of God.  1 Thessalonians ...

The best party

Image
Many people want to know where the party spot is on. Life can be stressful so we need to chill. When someone gets down then they will relax. I will talk about the area where an party last forever. How do you start the party, dude? The must excellent way is here. The DJ is Jesus and the prayer of His people will start the party. Revelation 5:8 says, "And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one  had  a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people." It is amazing to know that God wants us to talk to Him. I have written to my senator and they gave me, 'the I don't care letter'. God is not that way. He values our relationship with Him.  Jesus came to this earth. He lived an perfect life. He died on the cross for our sins and arose from the dead. If we repent then we can know Him. The songs that are God centered should be on your playlist. The son...

Bigger than the Coronavirus

The apostle saw in the hand of Him that sat upon the throne, a roll of parchments in the form usual in those times, and sealed with seven seals. This represented the secret purposes of God about to be revealed. The designs and methods of Divine Providence, toward the church and the world, are stated, fixed, and made a matter of record. The counsels of God are altogether hidden from the eye and understanding of the creature. The several parts are not unsealed and opened at once, but after each other, till the whole mystery of God's counsel and conduct is finished in the world. The creatures cannot open it, nor read it; the Lord only can do so. Those who see most of God, are most desirous to see more; and those who have seen his glory, desire to know his will. But even good men may be too eager and hasty to look into the mysteries of the Divine conduct. Such desires, if not soon answered, turn to grief and sorrow. If John wept much because he could not look into the book of God's...

Before greatness

Image
We talk about greatness and we bow before the great people. We go to Netflix and many people will make Hollywood stars as gods. The media will make these stars as immortal. I believe that the stars of Hollywood as people like us. I grew up as an sports fan. Much of the culture will make an athlete as an greek god. Every society will worship great athletes. They will get old and become like any man. We need to bow before greatness. Jesus is great because He is God. I wonder why people in general do not see the greatness of Jesus up this earth. It is called sin and in heaven there is no sin. The Bible give us glimpse of heaven. The true followers of Jesus will be in heaven because they want to honor and follow Jesus. I will go over Revelation 4:9-11. I can't fathom how great the Lord is. I will begin with Revelation 4:9-10. It says, "Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four e...

The amazing future

Image
After the Lord Jesus had instructed the apostle to write to the churches the things that are, there was another vision. The apostle saw a throne set in heaven, an emblem of the universal dominion of Jehovah. He saw a glorious One upon the throne, not described by human features, so as to be represented by a likeness or image, but only by his surpassing brightness. These seem emblems of the excellence of the Divine nature, and of God's awful justice. The rainbow is a fit emblem of that covenant of promise which God has made with Christ, as the Head of the church, and with all his people in him. The prevailing color was a pleasant green, showing the reviving and refreshing nature of the new covenant. Four-and-twenty seats around the throne, were filled with four-and-twenty elders, representing, probably, the whole church of God. Their sitting denotes honor, rest, and satisfaction; their sitting about the throne signifies nearness to God, the sight and enjoyment they have of him. They...

Street cred is not everything!

Image
There are many people that have street cred but can't back up their images. I think that all of mankind has fallen into this trap. It could be that an person knows that they are not matching up. There are people that deceive themselves that they match the street cred. There was an church that had much cred. This church was found in Laodicea. If this church was going on today, they would have much love on Instagram. They had an rep for being an church that honored God but the truth is that they weren't. Let's us look at Revelation 3:14-15. These verses say,  “To the angel of the church in Laodicea   write:  These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness,  the ruler of God’s creation.   I know your deeds,  that you are neither cold nor hot.  I wish you were either one or the other!" If there was an Twitter poll. Many people would think that the church in Laodicea was going hard for Jesus. The key is that Jesus sees the heart. The b...

True and purpose! Do you want life?

Image
The same Lord Jesus has the key of government and authority in and over the church. He opens a door of opportunity to his churches; he opens a door of utterance to his ministers; he opens a door of entrance, opens the heart. He shuts the door of heaven against the foolish, who sleep away their day of grace; and against the workers of iniquity, how vain and confident soever they may be. The church in Philadelphia is commended; yet with a gentle reproof. Although Christ accepts a little strength, yet believers must not rest satisfied in a little, but strive to grow in grace, to be strong in faith, giving glory to God. Christ can discover this his favor to his people, so that their enemies shall be forced to acknowledge it. This, by the grace of Christ, will soften their enemies, and make them desire to be admitted into communion with his people. Christ promises preserving grace in the most trying times, as the reward of past faithfulness; To him that hath shall be given. Those who ke...
