The stars, sword and bright lights

I will begin with Revelation 1:16. The verse says, "In his right hand he held seven stars and out of his mouth came a sharp double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance." I believe that the seven stars stand for the angels of the seven churches. There are three interpretation of the seven angels. One interpretation is that it was an heavenly messenger. It could be an earthly messenger or personifications of the prevailing spirit of each church. I will be talking about the double-edged sword. I believe that it would look like the Thracian Sword. You can see this for your personal reference in Revelation 2:12,16; 6:8 and 19:15. The sword symbolizes divine judgment. We need to look at Isaiah 49:2 and Hebrews 4:12. Isaiah 49:2 He made my mouth  like a sharpened sword,      in the shadow of his hand  he hid me; he made me into a polished arrow      and concealed me in his quiver. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God  is alive  and active.  Shar

This will glow, what?

We all want to be different and special. We look up to people that has serious glow. We want to be like the actor or the athlete. We always forgot about Jesus. Revelation 1:15 says, " And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters." I will be talking about the wording, "and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace." I think of this idea, Jesus is strong and steadfast. We can rely on Jesus because He is God. Psalm 37:39 says, " The salvation   of the righteous comes from the   Lord ;  he is their stronghold in time of trouble." We need something bigger than ourselves and we all have an God-shape hole in our hearts. I will add another point to the feet like fine brass.  Jesus has total power and he will judge all sin. The enemy of God will hate that they went against the Lord when judgement happens. Jesus is the Creator. I will talk about "his voice as the sound

Are you on fire???

Are you in fire in life? We can't keep on fire with ourselves. I mean that you need to step by step with Jesus. The Apostle John had an encounter with Jesus. I will begin Revelation 1:14. Revelation 1:14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. I will break down this verse. Jesus is pure and when with Jesus in heart then you will have purity. Daniel 7:9 As I looked, “thrones were set in place,      and the Ancient of Days  took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow;      the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire,      and its wheels  were all ablaze." Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,”      says the  Lord . “Though your sins are like scarlet,      they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson,      they shall be like wool." When I think of the image above. I think of white hair. Leviticus 19:32 Stand up in the presence

The guest of honor

The Apostle John was put on the island of Patmos because he told people about the gospel. The Romans thought this would end this movement but it didn't Jesus revealed the last days to John on this island. We have been through the first eleven verses of chapter one. I will explain verses twelve and thirteen to you today. John heard a voice and he turned around to see who was speaking. He was put on the island by himself and he had an Guest of Honor. And when he looked he saw seven golden lampstands. Revelation  1:12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands. You are wondering on this point. He looked back and there was seven golden lampstands. It stands for the seven churches in verse twenty of Revelation 1:20. Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand  and of the seven golden lampstands  is this: The seven stars are the angels   of the seven churches,  and the seven lamps

The best app for information

We all want the best app for everything in life. We have Uber for a ride and Uber Eats for a late dinner and if you are lazy. We have banking apps and more. I believe that many people will never have this app on their phones. The Apostle John was on the Island of Patmos. God revealed His way to John. God shown the evil days that are coming. God had a message for the seven churches in Minor Asia. Revelation 1:10-11 On the Lord’s Day  I was in the Spirit,  and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,  which said:  “Write on a scroll what you see  and send it to the seven churches:  to Ephesus,  Smyrna,  Pergamum, Thyatira,  Sardis,  Philadelphia  and Laodicea.” When you see the Lord's Day, it was on an Saturday. John was a seeker of the Lord Jesus. God has a great voice that the world will never see. John was order to wrote down some words for the seven churches. The seven churches were to these churches and what God thought. We need to hear what God wants for us that
